Jack London State Park
The historic park is at 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen, about
20 minutes north of Sonoma. Take Hwy 12 east to right turn on London
Ranch Rd. Turn right into parking lot where critique will be-the
park’s upper parking lot provides access to a picnic area,
London’s cottage, stables, stone barns, silos and "pig
palace." State park fee: $6

cross Summerfield Road, left at stop sign (Newanga Avenue) into
park, $6 fee at entrance, right to parking lot above lake/critique
spot near restrooms.

From downtown Tomales, go south one mile towards Tomales Bay. Park
in turnout to left of Walker Creek Bridge. Great view of creek winding
down through the valley. Critique in town at Bakery, (closed on
Mondays) 3:30.

to get to Shollenberger Park:
From Santa Rosa (going south on Hwy 101) or San Rafael (going
north on Hwy 101)
Take the Highway 116 (Lakeville Highway) turnoff in Petaluma and
go east for about one mile. Turn right on South McDowell Blvd, go
0.3 miles, and take a right at the City Park sign (this sign is
very small and looks like a road identification sign).

Joe Rodota Parkway, Llano Rd access….mustard fields, oak trees,
marsh growth. Park at Hwy 12 and Llano Rd at Lunardi Electric, short
walk to Llano Rd, (just south & then west), turn right.

Spud Point

North on Hwy 1,through town of Bodega Bay take Eastshore Road, go
downhill to stop sign and turn right, traveling around the bay.
Park in the Spud Point Marina lot. Critique at the picnic table
south of the Marina office. Boats, hills, and water. Restrooms at
Marina office, deli food at store.

Robert Young Winery

Fantastic view of Alexander Valley from the top of knoll. To paint
from knoll, drive past tasting room, turn left through gate and
follow unpaved road to top of hill. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Do not
park in visitor parking lot.

Blvd. Turn on B Street and go to the end, turning right into the
Great Petaluma Mill parking lot. Views of river, mill, yacht club,
boats. Critique along Weller Street.

Timber Crest Winery, 4791 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg. Take last Healdsburg
exit, "Dry Creek Rd," turn left, go approx 5 miles, lane
on the right, park at first lot on left by red barn....views from
group picnic of western hills, daffodils peaking in front area,
great red barn and rustic tower, bocci ball court. LAST WINTER HR
MEETING, critique at 3:30 at covered tables.

Occidental Ecology Center
9:00am -1:00pm, critique at 12:30pm
15290 Coleman Valley Rd, Occidental. 80 acres that encompasses wild
lands of meadows and mixed oak, fir and redwood forests. The Center’s
bio-intensive organic gardens and orchards have been a source of
inspiration and training for thousands of gardeners, farmers and
landscapers for over 30 years.
Please
read special instructions: CARPOOL ENCOURAGED, limited
parking. The owner would like us to use upper lot, aprox. 100’
from main entrance. It looks like a ranch driveway & Phil may
post sign for us there. Pull open crude gate; you can leave open
for a short time only, then close, so horse doesn’t
get out, (behind electrified line). Those w/physical limitations
can park below or anyone can drop gear off below before parking
above, a 5 minute walk difference, though plenty to paint above
as well.

view. No restrooms, but lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Critique

1685 Magnolia, Healdsburg-take central Healdsburg exit, left on
Mill St., left on Kinley Dr., right on Magnolia. Many acres, vineyards,
roses, new but old-looking Tuscany building etc.

Bodega Head
9:00am -1:00pm, critique at 12:30pm
Website
North of town of Bodega Bay. Look for the sign to Marina and Bodega
Head, turn left then right at the stop sign onto Bay Flat Rd. Continue
a few miles, past Spud Point and Campbell Cove. Go up the hill and
take the first road on left, as it’s closer to irises, wildflowers,
iceplant and cypress trees with vista of sea behind. There will
be a few parking places on left as you turn east towards lot; most
parking is in the east lot overlooking Bodega Bay. 12:30 critique
in same lot.
